Help! Testing Dynamo output

Guys how do I check my dynamo output. I have a new Love Mud Juice boost hub 6v 3W and whilst it does power my light it's not as bright as I expected and my phone won't charge off my sinewave revolution even though it says it's charging. They are switched so run independently. When I stick the volt m...

Explain that! Saw the Race Duncan but wanted the Fo...

Sinevave revolution, Igaro or k-lite usb?

I'm seriously considering getting a k-lite bikepacker light and associated gubbins but then came across the sinewave revolution and the Igaro usb chargers. The k-lite charger is the obvious choice because it all just plugs together. The rev can be wired up to fit when you buy it, not sure about the ...

Re: Emily Chappell rides in mid-Wales

Well a few months back i saw her all loaded up riding through the middle of Kidderminster past the multi storey and hand car wash, on a week day! Now I can pretty much guarantee that none of us on here have ridden that route. Well I haven't and I live there!

Use an A5 sized piece of that silicone coated mat used in kitchen drawers between harness and bag. Very grippy and light!

Dynamo charging

My new wheelbuilding fetish has led me into buying 2 new dynamo hubs. ( 1 for a bike I don't even own yet  ) . So what is the cheapest gadget to charge a battery pack from a dynamo hub. I seem to remember someone mentioning something from Maplin a while ago. I may even run a light off it. Any ...

Re: Close encounters with the wild kind!

I was on the cairngorms loop heading into Abernethy Forest late at night and decided to stop at a bridge over a small stream to grab some water. It was pitch black so head torch on and scrambled down the bank only to be attacked by a very angry dipper that must have been roosting under the bridge. H...
