We live an environment where easy access to cheap high energy food is by design. OK finally got my self weighed. 12st 3.5lbs 77.8kg For the sake of spreadsheets, Id say my weight has been static since 1st Jan. I've set my self a goal of loosing 16 lb (7.3kg) over 16 weeks in time for the HTR550. So my goal is about 11st (70kg). Edit..just realised that my goal equates to about 1...

OK, I've updated those mistakes and added details for the eight rides that are now open for entries. We have two more off-road focused rides that we are still working on. A previously used woodshed (2016) was chocca with wood this year when we passed. I can only think of two occasions over 5 sorties where I've encountered a non 550 person at any of the bothies. Stood on my bathroom scales and they stop at 6st. So I've no idea what my weight is, but it's too much. Benchmark weight will be reported when metrics available.

I didn't have a plan in 2013 but packed a bivi bag and knew where the food was. I only spent one night in a bothy but it was the by far the most comfortable night so I'm keen to repeat that if it's an option. And I'll always pack a bivi as plans never work out. A new sleeping bag would be nice.
