You are only supposed to get to that particular bothy BY FOOT and not by bicycle (or quad bike/motorbike/4x4/horse/etc.). Its part of the agreement with the Elan Valley Trust (citation needed). You WILL GET TO THE BOTHY BY FOOT! by default. The bit after the Bridleway, which is fine to ride because...

Just find a nice friend

I lent mine to Slarge for 2 highland trails, you can set up a 2nd profile and it costs nothing. Would only have been sat in a cupboard otherwise and I got a bottle of whisky (win win) :-bd

I’ve got a cheapy crappy cafe retractable thin wire combi lock It’s next to useless but just enough to lock my bike while I grab a coffee etc I wouldn’t use if the bike was going to be out of sightshot (new word) for more than 30 secs.
