Re: jack mytton way??
We rode the original linear route from Billingsley to Llanfair Waterdine although there is now
a circular route that takes in Cleobury Mortimer. Some sections get abit overgrown in the nettle
and thistle season but its all good fun. Check out shropshire councils web site for maps and info

Re: WRT 2013 - what have I missed?
Gotta remember that the WRT is in no way, shape or form any type of race or contest. Everyone is free to make of it and take from it what they will ... maps, gps, moss on trees, whatever floats your boat, it's all good ;) On our part we get just as much pleasure from pitching up, getting the stove ...

If it aint broke, personally i enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the WRT with its frame work
of grid refs and planning a route that suits you and those riding with you.

Trans Cambrian Way :D

Lightweight Karrimor down jackets for £25. I've seen them in the flesh and they're pretty good, not really warm enough for full on winter use but great as a layer or for spring/summer. 90/10 in them but I've no idea about fill power ... although they feel similar to a RAB Microlight. http://www.fie...

Taken on the descent from Trannon to the finish of the WRT, for tea and cake, seven pieces and three cups actually but seeing as some gave up I didn't feel guilty, anyway it was too nice to waste. Thanks go to Stuart and Dee for a great weekend out even if one of our group did think he was going to die...
