Re: Pain and suffering

I see some bridleways round our way stuck in somewhat a viscous circle: If they don't get ridden they become overgrown/If they are overgrown they don't get ridden. I try to ride them all once in a while no matter how bramble and nettle strewn they are, and complain to the parish councils too, but ki...

Re: Bar roll ‘extras’ bag

The other thing I've done is to use my Aiguille bum bag's daisy chain loops to attach to the front roll's straps. That's kinda handy as it'll double up as a regular bum bag should the need arise. Maybe fixing a daisy chain to any suitable bag could be an easy win?

Re: Bar roll ‘extras’ bag

I've got the Salsa EXP Series Front Pouch that marries up with the Anything Cradle dry bag. It came with the cradle set , and I don't actually use it that much as unless full everything in it rattles around too much. Your suggested purchase looks like it'd negate this by being of softer construction...

Belatedly Shaf, but I’ll buy into a Happy Monday … I had a big off on Sunday. Popped into the local minor injuries just to see if I needed a stitch in my eyebrow and before I knew it was strapped down to a board and being transferred to Lancaster Infirmary. cycle.travel's quite good to mess around with for ideas, and you can make circular loops or ones taking in dedicated camp sites if you don't wanna wild camp. I was gonna suggest heading up towards Forest of Bowland (maybe using Beacon Fell or Longridge Fell as a place to camp), but I think that may ...

CBA digging out the callipers but here they are compared to a regular dynaplug. I'd say they're the same, ~4.5mm ø, and from memory the other would about match a 'mega' plug's diameter.

Re: Where to get replacement dynaplug plugs?

The WTB arrows look like a much more sustainable solution as they’ll work with regular bacon strips. I’m planning on switching over to them at some Point. I had some arrive yesterday. Followed advice just to buy the refill pack rathe than full kit as they're shaped to fit over a regular hex key. Wi...

Re: Where to get replacement dynaplug plugs?

Very much related, I've just seen these: https://www.wtb.com/products/tcs-rocket-tire-plug-kit-1 and am tempted to move to try/use them instead. I'm told you don't even need the kit and can use the plugs from the refill with a hex key instead. While I really like Dynaplugs, counting single use plugs...
