Re: "Broke Down" Farm By Afon Hengwm

It was an outward bound centre.
I poked my head in a couple of years ago and it’s quite run down now.

@Neil
The track is rideable on a gravel bike but I wouldn’t say it’ll be enjoyable.

-11c, what a superb ride, well I think that about clinches it, amazing! No point entering our Salop effort, stick a decimal point in yours and that'd be about our situation. Taylor took a reading I think but dunno what it was yet.

For this year's winter bivi had bontrager OMW'S with gaiters which worked a treat.
Feet were lovely and warm all weekend which is more than my fingers were.

All,

Change of plan I’m afraid - my daughter now needs picking up from Uni on Saturday, not Monday as originally planned so I’m on long range taxi duties and won’t be able to make it.

Cheers

Steve

Re: Wales - Mach Loop - Watch and ride

If you take the cycle path up to the to of the hill from aberllefenni then push the last bit up, that's the best viewing spot. Much better than the road viewpoint.

My renewal is due next week. I asked to have my account suspended as I'll likely not be using the Spot so much and so will set up a monthly thing as and when. I've just been offered a standard full annual contract for €85 (plus taxes).
