Gravel bike gearing
Currently I have 2x9 on my gravel bike with mechanical discs and I'm finding it harder to come across 9 speed components when they wear out.
Does anybody know of a reasonably priced hydraulic 10spd/11spd bundles that work well but won't break the bank?

Re: This weekends Virtual Winter Event - postponed
As others have suggested, the main thing is about reducing the risk of stretching the NHS beyond where it is now. Falling off of a bike on a bridleway 5 miles from a road will potentially involve all sorts of services, probably not ideal right now. I know that nothing is completely risk free, but a...

I might just get the turbo out, dust it down and watch the football on television whilst pedaling, then sleep in the garden.
I also have a serious case of CBA.

Cyclo-cross question
I've been watching a fair few races recently from the elite men and women but my q relates to the men's races. Why does our lad, Tom Pidcock always start in the middle of the bunch, I'm guessing it's seeded as MVDP, Van Aert always start on the front row but as Tom is current British national champi...

Going abroad at this time
We had a holiday booked for this Christmas/new year but it got canceled by the accommodation in Lanzarote which was a bummer but we still had the flights, a quick last minute juggle and we went anyway staying in an airbnb on the island arriving back on Christmas Eve. Isolation for 10 days as Boris h...

Re: What are your feelings about next year?
Depends which Island you go to in the canaries, Tenerife has loads of covid, Lanzarote has about 40 active cases currently. A face mask at all times when outside the home/accommodation but not during exercise. Walking to the beach=mask on, sit down on the beach=mask off, etc. Etc. Wasn't that bad. T...

Re: A Q for the hammock users.
I like to sleep in a hammock but using them imo is being quirky for the sake of it - similar to single speed mountain bikes :o Imagine hammock AND singlespeeds. :-bd Not that my knees would cope with a singlespeed nowadays. The reason I've not hammocked much over the previous year(this year not inc...

Re: A Q for the hammock users.
Other than the weight and pack size penalties I much prefer hammocking IF you get the right hammock. I have a love hate with my Blackbird and have found a new love in a cheaper hammock that has no bug net. I used the “new” one end of October as there was no midges and I knew we would be on a steep h...

Not due back until Christmas Eve. Not heard anything regarding banning us from travelling back to the UK. Could be worse, could be back in Britain surrounded by Covidiot’s crammed onto a train(incubator) from tier 4, there’s only 41 active cases on the whole of the island and the riding here is good.
