Re: WRT

A very different WRT feel but glad to be out after so many months cooped up. Managed to Pringle my rear wheel on day two and had to nurse it home all day Monday which was a very slow affair, might also have something to do with the extra weight I’ve put on over lockdown. Cheers Stu, cheers Dee. (150...

Nope. Probably going to post a thread tomorrow to beg for someone to follow around.

Right now I don't even have a working bike, let alone a route.
Seems to be a recurring theme

We have ways of making you talk podcasts.
All about WW2, debunking myths and side stories that you've probably never heard about.
Fascinating.

Re: GBDuro Starts Tomorrow 1st August 8am

Do they remove the fertilisers and other chemicals regularly dumped into water supplies? Most of the 'simple' ones won't Dave but you'd need to ingest a relatively large amount (or perhaps be unlucky enough to take it near source) to make you poorly. Given the dilution, I'd imagine it would need to...

I suppose you've got to be mindful of what the general public think, as 50 cyclist or 5, are in a group if they're within 50 metres of each other irrespective of social distancing or wether they're all going for solo rides. Lots of the general idiots will lump us into the same group of lycra clad lo...

I suspect the guides still get sewing and cooking badges !
Don't be daft, girls are allowed in cubs/scouts nowadays but boys aren't allowed to join the brownies or guides.
They both do cooking and sewing, you raving sexist.

Re: GCN does bikepacking

Why are some referring to the video as top gear for bikes?
I thought it was fairly informative, especially for the uninitiated, not completely my style of bikepacking but I learned about fillmybottle.com, or whatever it is called.

Re: GCN does bikepacking

I suspect if you had to deal with the racismand sexism in youro life I think you would both speak differently and care a lot more. I think people genuinely do care Jon and I'd bet a penny to a pound that 99% of people here are neither racist or sexist and will happily take people as they find them ...
