I have thought about that, next time I'm passing.

Re: Wide opening bivi bags

More waterproof than the usual Borah lightweight bags is more preferable as it might not be used with a tarp. Carinthia do one but its 300 euro's and the zip doesn't go down as far as I'd like. Mil-tec do pretty much what it wan't but it's bloody heavy, 1.3kg Must be muted colours too as I'm not a h...

Wide opening bivi bags

I’ve got 3 bivi bags but I can’t stand the top entry, does my head in and was wondering if anybody’s found a large size bag with a side zip that goes from shoulder to knee?

Re: Hammock & Tarp

I don't find it any lighter with any of my combo's of hammock/tarp Vs ground dwelling. Sadly most of the weirdos that I bikepack with are all for the floor so I don't get to use my hammock much in the BB events. When I have, it's been brilliant due to the comfort factor and finding a stand of trees ...

3.3kg in under two weeks.
Driving between jobs I keep seeing bakery's and such like but I've managed to avoid them, that's probably my biggest weekness(and wine).

Hopefully I'll keep this up.

Reckon I could've dropped a full 2 kilos if it wasn't for Pleasant Valley Sunday, champagne, wine, cheese, chorizo and chocolate but happy with week one.

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

Is under 80kg achievable in 12 month or is that too big an ask without a massive shift in lifestyle? Yeah, 15kg in a year is perfectly reasonable, that said, it depends on your definition of "massive shift in lifestyle". To lose a quarter of a kg a week (you'll likely lose more at the sta...

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

How does this work? I'm 94.9kg on 3/1/22 It works just like that. Each week (or whenever) you post your updated weight and if you fancy posting your target weight then I can plot your progress along with others. And from there we just chat about all things health/fitness/density etc... I want to lo...

Re: Ordering from the EU - thoughts?

£32 I have to give parcel farce for my mat.
Mat was £162 Inc postage so works out I'm still up as I'm seeing them for around £215 in the UK, just not as much saving as I'd hoped.

Since Brexit, this is the first time I've been charged for stuff from the EU.

Perhaps it goes without saying, but any tubes on here who voted for Brexshit, presume your realise the stupidity of your actions now ... There's a lot of tubes that vote for Scotland to leave the UK which is essentially the same thing. This isn't the right forum for an argument on politics though.
