Re: Trial Period Saddles

Both these places do that saddle pressure mapping as part of the wider bike fit. Be prepared to dig deep though, not cheap. https://www.cyclefit.co.uk/ https://www.philburtinnovation.co.uk/ I think Retül based bike fits also do some sort of sit bone mapping, but it's on a tablet like device, rather...

27.2 is an odd seatpost size for a dropper , do ypu get many brands in that size.

How many folk use a 34 single ring set up for the HT550?
I have a 27.2mm dropper on my gravel bike. Weird size for a mountain bike...

Alpkit Brukit. Not really very small, but will do nicely for family camping this weekend and when my son and I go bikepacking next month.

FS: alpkit soloist

Upgrading to an Ordos 2, so I have my soloist for sale. One of the poles snapped, but alpkit include this handy little sleeve to put over the snapped pole for a fix. And it works a treat. But because of this, I'm only looking for £50+ p&p. It is, however, dry and with no rips in the fabric. Phot...

Exchange: 700c wheels for 650b

Does anyone want to swap a set of DTSwiss E1800 700c wheels (can include 32mm tyres and brake rotors, possibly an 11-32 cassette if i can find it) for a set of 650b wheels? Thru axel (road/gravel 12mm). I want to see if I can run slightly wider gravel tyres by using 650b wheels on my gravel bike.

Re: This year's set-up

Just because it's a 3 litre bladder doesn't mean I fill it to the brim- this time of year I'll put about 1.5 litres in it. But i drink a lot of water (500-750ml on my 12 mile commute). Though last summer during the August heatwave, I was filling it 2-3 times/day. But I don't have the space for anoth...

Re: This year's set-up

It looks a lot more than it is due to the size of my bike. My frame bag can just about fit my 3 litre hydration bladder and 2 x tubes. The handlebar roll is just a sleeping bag and mat. Tent is in the aeropack and the two little panniers have 1 x spare set of kit, bamboo base layer and packable jack...

Ok thanks everyone. At least now I've got a few ideas about what & how to pack. I'm looking on ebay and Facebook marketplace for used saddlebags and panniers and racks. There seems to be more saddlebags available so I might go down that route. I have a 15 litre Topeak Backloader saddlebag I'm l...
