I think these tend to be dedicated mtbs? I'm aiming for a roadish looking thing rather.

WTD 26 inch steel mtb frame
Just putting out a feeler, finding one of these at a modest price has proven trickier than anticipated. I found a crack in my road(+) 650b frame, so I need a transplant. I want to try a 'retro' 26 inch conversion. Something that should fit me at 6ft, and has a 1 1/8 inch steerer. Anyone has a failed...

Yup, got it from Spa. Not super stable, but great for what it is.

Re: Audax. anyone ride em ?
Done a few, keen on getting back to it, there's a 200 next month near me in the Scottish midlands. I love the game, but got a bit turned off because of having to be in traffic, especially when the drowsiness hits.

Appreciate it! Not quite what I had in mind (alu), but also too big for me (I'm 6ft spot on).

WTD Kona Unit (x) or similar
I'm just putting out a feeler, if anyone has a Unit (x) in Large or a similar (rigid steel) they want to part with, I might be interested! Frameset or full bike, either way.

Re: Bike choice appreciation society
It's not too fancy, but a totally ground-up build so everything was a choice, and it ended up working really well as a whole. Wallet-conscious randonneur.

Re: Suggest a bivy bag?
I've got an MLD Superlight which I use on every trip, never let me down since I got it in 2010, Ron calls the bathtub fabric pro silnylon which I think is just 40D. Also got a BG bivvy but it's not a patch on the MLD in terms of quality and finish Treated myself to an eVent Soul bivvy last year but...

Re: Suggest a bivy bag?
It's not super porous but I used it without a groundsheet a and always noticed a bit of wetness on the bottom. At home while washing, I tried pooling some water in the outside bottom and the other side was damp. Haven't really tried anything much more conclusive. It's not a huge deal, but I'm not su...

Re: Suggest a bivy bag?
Borah (non-dcf) floors are not really waterproof, which may or may matter, but good to have in mind since they're advertised as such.

FS: Deschutes (gone)
Pictures pending. Used for about 3 nights total. No good reason for leaving it sit, just happens to be a bit surplus. It's the one with a black patch on top, got it around the end of 2019. Kinda criminal how it's just sitting around. Seam sealed, no marks or anything.

Re: Bikepacking tent
spent several hours trying to get an acceptable pitch on a perfectley flat lawn. I've got a Deschutes, basically the Lunar Solo without the sewn in floor. I must have tried dozens of times to get a good pitch on my lawn and I'm never happy with it. For example, pitched in the daylight at home for a...

One tear from the previous owner on the right side of the hood. I wanted to try this for summer fast stuff and audaxing but decided to sell on before it got warm enough. It's a bit short for me at 6ft

J-zip mid soild inner, fits a gatewood or deschutes. One night use only, I find it cramped. £35 posted
Can measure out if there's interest. My scale says 330g. The original ali ad said 350 (maybe my scale is off?)
