Front light fork mount.
Looking for a mount to fit my front light to my fork as no room on handlebars. I have rack mounts on the forks that can be used. Or are there better places like helmet mounts ?.

Re: Winter boots and gloves
My Hotpogs were easy to fit. Slip over the handles and brakes, fasten velcro strap and pull tightening toggle. They even fitted over my Ergon GP2 bar grips. Those ones look a lot less "oven mitty".

Having just ordered by bivy bag from Borah Gear I can attested to what others have said. John from Borah Gear is fantastic, helpful and friendly.

Got a reply from John at Borah Gear. They still do direct to the UK and a lot cheaper than Outdoorline who ask for a minimum £135 spend before they will deliver to the UK.

Easiest to get and cheapest so far that I've seen is the Katabatic Bristlecone bivy bag. Looks pretty similar to the borah.

Re: Borah bivy or mesh inner for a Gatewood.
Next question. Where the hell do I buy a Borah bivy in the post brexit minefield of international postage. I had to go have a lie down after reading the postage instructions from Outdoorline.sk.

Borah bivy or mesh inner for a Gatewood.
Totally in love with my Gatewood cape as recommended on here. I am using an Alpkit Kloke bivy but have seen the Borahgear Bivi mentioned as well as inners that fit the Gatewood. Anybody have advice about these ? My main niggles at the moment are getting in and out the Kloke and I feel it's overkill ...

Re: Carrying water
Are there other options that would fit in your frame? I have a small MTB frame and have moved the downtube bottle cage mount down about 40mm using a piece of flat bar with tapped holes in (I think wolf components do a specially made adaptor). That means I can get a full size bottle in below the hal...

Carrying water
Got my new bike and bikepacking set up. Pleased with it all apart from my water carrying. My frame (Sonder Camino medium) fits a Restrap medium frame bag for my cooking stuff etc but the space left only takes 2 water bottles with combined capacity of 1.25 litres. How can i up my water capacity. Full...

Re: Family holiday ideas - Scotland, kids, coast
Inverness is a good largish town for spending a day or two in. Aviemore, 30 miles south for the Cairngorms and outdoor sports. Also its at the head of the Great Glen if you fancy a trip to see Nessie. The west coast and Skye is a 2 hour drive away and just north of Inverness is the Black Isle with n...

Re: Gatewood cape question
That should be tied to the main guy line with a prusik knot as it's used to pull the front down - there's little loops on the doors for it to clip to. Pole height - 114cm / 115cm but you can go a little higher if you like. Pegs - whatever you like but don't skimp on the front peg as the shelters in...

Re: Any Inverness dwellers past or present
I lived just north of Inverness for about 7 years. Its the biggest town in the area. Is well situated to reach outdoor hotspots like Aviemore and Ullapool over on the west coast and has all the shops, ammenities and transport links of a big town. It has a good mixture of tourist stuff and local stuf...

UL Tarp for use with Kloke Bivy.
Bought myself an Alplit Kloke after the advice i got on here. Looking for a one man tarp to go with it for a little more weather protection. UL and able to pitch with a bike would be a bonus. Any suggestions?
