Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

No weigh-in for me this week. Forgot to do it Friday morning. Did check Saturday morning (same as last week) but that was after a meal out and many beers on Friday night. Probably need to focus a little. I'd like to get to target weight in March and the rate I'm losing it over the last few weeks mea...

 I've already sent a strongly worded email to Wordle. Warned them of going down the road of Uber, Meta and those other shit-heads. Some things are worth fighting for...just like the this wildcamping lark.

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

Target - 72kg
8/1 - 77.1kg
14//1 - 76kg
21/1 - 75.8kg
28/1 - 75.1kg.

Today 75kg. Hmmm...not much change from last week. Scales just wouldn't budge no matter how much I wished it.

Target - 72kg 8/1 - 77.1kg 14//1 - 76kg 21/1 - 75.8kg Today 75.1kg. All going the right way. TBF, getting slightly bored of it so there have been some odd snacks creeping in but nothing that is throwing it off track. Slow and steady is fine. At the same time, I do feel like I've lost weight and some...

8/1 - 77.1kg
14//1 - 76kg

Today 75.8kg. Small drop was expected this week as a few dinners were bigger and gummies I got Xmas were getting picked at. We're playing the long game though, so no biggy.

1/1 - 78.4kg
8/1 - 77.1kg
14//1 - 76kg

All pretty good so far. Cut out snacks other than a treat Sat night. Only beer night is a Sat too. I've cut out Fri/Sun drinks. I kinda fancy one tonight though as its been a tough day at work and I've had a delivery turn-up.

A pair of Velochampion leg warmers. No idea on quality or whether I'll like them but not expensive so worth a try. I've been following the trousers thread with interest but haven't decided which way to go. Thought the leg warmers offer versatility.

And then Primal Scream's 'Give Out But Don't You Give Up'. Vinyl on this is outstanding (in case anyone's interested).

Re: 2022 Plans (to go with the 2021 Reflections thread)

For me it is about building the little I did last year. I could have done more towards the end of the year but for one reason or another didn't manage it. Now at the New Year, there are a few DIY jobs that will get in the way of, for example, BAMs but we'll see. Start with some over-nighters locally...

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

Well it was wet and muddy this morning with the dog giving me one of those 'WTF!' moments half way round the trail. Told him not to be soft. Mind you, I did have to wring him out at the end. I'd say the reason is more boring and that the scales kind of re-set themselves. Maybe they're shocked at my ...

Re: Fat Fighters '22 - (The year of victory edition!)

Weigh-in after run this morning. Never really trust our scales fully. Pre-shower 78kg. Post shower 77.1kg. What is that all about? The lower weight seems right considering this weeks efforts, so I'm going with that unless someone can persuade me otherwise.

This is on my list, not this year but maybe next. I spent about 3 summer holidays there when I was a teen, having relatives living there on Benbecula. Just an amazing place and memories of the place have stayed with me.

Hi, for those who have one of the Polaris jackets, are these larger sized? Small more medium or med more large? These seems to good a deal to pass up.

I'll join too. Weighed today at 78.4kg and aim to get to 72kg, or nearabout. Did the same loss about the start of summer last year but then put it back on as Winter neared. Too many biscuits and snacks...maybe beer too.

Re: The dodgy tradesmen of old rant

I agree with Jay91 with 50mm only required for longer runs. Renovated my bathroom and found the bathroom and sink waste didn't fall away but instead had to make its way uphill for most of the length.
