WTD: Bars, Brakes, Shifter (flat bar conversion)

Hi All, I'm after a few bits for an easy commuting life. If anyone has any options for the following: 1 - Flat bars, 31.8mm, ideally something with a nice sweep but anything considered. 2 - SRAM Apex 11sp flat bar shifter 3 - Brakes - Some Shimano hydros would be nice for easy bleeding and my existi...

Love our MSR Elixir 2. Not as light as the Hubba Hubba or Alpit Jaran 2 that have similar design but it's very durable!

Re: WTD Surly Snugnut

Can you not drill the hole bigger? I considered this but looks the tuggnut design with 2 holes won't quite work on the newer dropouts It does work, singlespeed on the driveside, I drilled mine. The snuggnut is neater though (If you wanted to use it to adjust wheelbase on a geared setup, you'd need ...

Right you are - I'd not come across them but I still live in the dark ages
I was also shocked when my trusty tuggnut didn't fit

WTD Surly Snuggnut

Hi All,

Don't suppose anyone has a Surly Snugnut going spare? Or can recommend another alternative for use with a SS Karate Monkey?

Cheers,

Re: Thermarest

So my neoair xlite suffered an aneurism on my recent Cairngorms excursion. I dropped Cascade a line and they said to send it back. This is a bit hassley but they have a UK based firm sending stuff out to save on sending it 'internationally' although it takes three weeks. Last week they emailed to s...

sean_iow wrote: Thu Apr 28, 2022 8:02 am I like mine, it's just about the same diameter an Alpkit 650 pot so sits nicely on top in a bag on the downtube.
Likewise - No trouble using the x-Cup and it fits perfectly inside an Alpkit 650 along with a small gas and stove :-bd

I've use one of these. Not sure it would really stop anyone but gives some piece of mind for quick pitstops.

WTD: SRAM Rival/Force Rear Derailleur

Hi All.

I don't support anyone has a SRAM Rival1 or Force1 11 Speed Rear Derailleur they are not using? Would need to be long cage for 42t cassette.

Looking to replace a damaged Rival rear derailleur on my gravel bike

Just a shame its only in grey
Outdry jackets look weird regardless, so the colour doesn't matter much.
Maybe not on some moorland track but on the road I'd rather have something bright over something that blended into the general mirk.
Yes that's my thinking!
