Re: Suggest a jerket
I recently bought a Galibier Vu Winter Jacket and it become my favourite ever. If you want more/different protection, then they do other jackets that are waterproof, or windproof etc. It fits really well, I could easily get a short sleeve jersey under it, although it's not particularly packable or a...

I'd love to pump all that data through our system at work and visualise it properly. Shame the dataset is most likely a few magnitudes too small.

Panda time...? A panda will make an appearance from time to time as a reminder for everyone to play nice. Noted. My two pence worth, for what that's worth... Re: Todays ride
Spent the arse end of last week and the weekend on the sofa with a clod. Off home to Scotland tomorrow, so there wasn't much opportunity to get out for a long ride before then. Decided to cycle home from work yesterday , then back in again this morning . Went home, relatively direct, which wasn't th...

Re: Atlas Mountain Race.
The Instagr$m feed for the race certainly makes it look like it's pretty much all off road. Can't imagine doing some of that on my gravel bike to be honest. Looks like it's been a pretty epic days riding. P.S. Either some of the trackers are off, not reporting, or are out of battery, as some of the ...

How do the dots work, are all the trackers reporting with the same frequency? Sofiane appears to be all over the place for example, half the time there's no label on the map or anything, it's a bit confusing.

They changed the law a few years ago, as far as I know. As long as you've got a free Rectifiers license , and are not distilling for retail, i.e. personal consumption or fuel, you're good to go (IANAL though). For a few hundred quid, you can get a proper still shipped from the East... https://ae01.a...

You could also try Ride with GPS, which produces a cue sheet to go along with your GPX. I've got an ELEMNT, so Strava produced routes don't cause the cue thingie to work. If I import from Ride with GPS though, it works as expected.
