Re: just keep on going.
The key, for me, came when I realised I needed to be just selfish enough to put myself first (to the extent that there wasn't a build up of resentment, anger and desperation) without being too much of a selfish prick to my family. :-bd Not an easy balance point to find but definitely, in my opinion...

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.
Was going to go out tonight, what with last night being a beautifully crisp clear night with a full moon, first snow on the Brecon Beacons this morning, and another dry night forecast, but now it's not happening... raining that cold probably 5 degrees rain which is horrible. Aiming for Thursday nigh...

Re: Your favourite moments?
Much of what's already been said. After a long very hot day finding a bivvy spot with a perfectly shaped tree to first put my feet up against, then sit leaning against as it gets fully dark. Then being surrounded by hundreds of glow worms, like a scene from Avatar. The same night, the relief after s...

With our usual innovative spirit we'll have to come up with summat similar to the V-WRT. I shall relish sending you off to bivvy on Formby beach JC  . I think I've exhausted pretty much every bivvy spot in my garden short of kipping on the compost heap though. At least that'd be nice and war...

Re: My BB200 2020 (may contain spoilers).
One thing I didn't note... the fitness required to ride all the hills on this one isn't that far off competitive athlete level. The difference that makes to being able to get through in any sort of reasonable time is HUGE. Because of just how much steep stuff is in this one, no-one should feel bad ...
