a boner 'course you are! Fully paid-up and everything. You've been swept into the BaM whirlpool? Don't forget your Four Season Legion badge to aim for. Everyone likes a badge. Re: Bivvy a month 2020.
I know it's a bit premature, it only just being Monday, but last night and this morning is going to be the highlight of my week. At last a proper bivvy, and in December too. I'd discovered this really great place only a couple of weeks ago, hillside overlooking Brecon bypass, and the ruins of a fort...

Re: Breakfast with a view.
Well, my gravel bike was still in the boot of my car this morning, freshly serviced and collected yesterday. It was a crisp frosty morning, and I am fortunate in having a daughter who has an early morning cleaning job at the Brecon Beacons National Park visitor centre (those of you who did the BB200...

Hmm....If I draw a 10ish mile radius around Brecon as my area, which I would if only I knew how to, then whoever gets picked to be my buddy could be either very lazy, or very mean, or even both, and just give me the BB200 route to do

Not a bad office :-bd https://i.imgur.com/xLeZCRG.jpg Just finished rebuilding the far wall. Looking at maps the original was at least 170 years old so it's done OK. I've memories of my dad repairing bits of the nearer wall and me, as a toddler, helping him with the small stones used for the heart/...

One of those quirky jersey things maybe, or cycling themed t shirts that annoyingly pop up on adverts for me all the time? I love the blue cookie monster quirky jersey... But I don't know your wife of course Good luck!

Fixed the latest in my current series of punctures, thanks to hedge cutting, and fitted some nobbly tyres.

Re: Bothies and covid
There are some none MBA bothies dotted about in Wales Verena but you need to know where to look. Generally, they don't get anywhere near the numbers of visitors that MBA bothies do and I'd say that they appear to get treated with a little more respect. I used to visit the Welsh MBA bothies a lot bu...

Re: Bothies and covid
They’re “officially” closed but “might” be unlocked for emergencies. I’d just steer clear until things ease up with Covid and no matter what the doom fappers say it will ease up. I personally tend not to use them, a couple of nights with the “bothies are for carrying crates of beer to” brigade have...

Bothies and covid
Hi, I've only recently even heard that bothies exist outside of Scotland, but on the website it says that they are closed at the moment due to covid . Does anyone know more about this? Are they actually locked?

I have a very thin silk balaclava which is great for keeping my head and face comfy bit not too warm at night, and it keeps my hair out of my face, though appreciate that may not be such a problem for you 😂 Some mini toiletries, and/or mini bottles of spirits? Custom face covering with one of the be...
