I'm referring to the ebike drive motor. When I first heard about the Pinion motor/gearbox I couldn't find any mention of a motor manufacturer which would make me a bit wary until there are a number of them in the wild.

I was wondering if anyone had fitted/used them. The tubed version particularly.

The sidewall protection is to try to save the rims rather than the tyres as far as I know.

They also mention the ability to run much lower tyre pressures than usual with tubes.

Overall, sounds way too good to be true.
