Moving bottle bosses

I'd like to move my bottle cages a little, to fit larger bottles into my frame.
Are there any adaptors available that you'd recommend?
Thanks

Any Fat Boners out there?

I'm just wondering how many of you use a fat bike for bike packing?
I'd love to hear what you and your fatty have been up to and what gear you have.
Photos would be great too.
Thanks in advance 🙂👍

Re: Genesis Longitude???

Hi. 27.5+ feels draggy on roads and hard surfaces, very difficult to get the pressure right for mixed terrain. I have a vagabond 29er and it feels like it rolls better/faster, might just be me, might be the bike. I have Jones bars on my longitude and it is again a marmite set-up, lots of hand posit...

Re: Genesis Longitude???

Had one , just got the gearing right and a set of Jones bars and it got nicked , it was one of the most comfortable bikes I’ve had , it’s not quick but soaks everything up with ease , yep it’s heavy but the only time I’ve felt it was after 3 days of lifting over multiple gates , seriously consideri...

Re: Genesis Longitude???

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds good so far! There’s only a couple of things putting me off... Sizing; The bike is a medium, but the Genesis website says I should get a large (I’m 5,10”). I’ve tried the bike and it seems fine (maybe needs a slightly longer stem). Wheel size; I worry a little abou...

I think it is perfect for the sort of stuff we do, still not convinced about 27.5+ though.

It's not the fastest, but it is very forgiving.

I suppose the question is what do you intend to use it for?
What’s making you doubtful about the 27.5+?

I’m afraid it’s a private sale, not a bike shop. The LBS are only open for repairs!! 😟

I have the chance to get a brand new (2019), Genesis Longitude, for a silly price!
I’ve heard good things about them but I’d appreciate any advice.

Re: Genesis Vagabond - any good?

Max Effort My Vagabond suits my local riding conditions and my style of riding. I live a 15 mile ride of tame trails and minor roads to the Surrey Hills. My Arkrose is too uncomfortable, when loaded, to tackle the off road sections, my Longitude too slow and boring getting there. I have done severa...

Re: Genesis Vagabond - any good?

I already have a hard tail/rigid (depending on which forks I fit), On-One Inbred 29er. If this isn’t even as good as that, would there be much point in getting one? You would not notice any significant improvement over the ridged Inbred - both would be about the same weight and TBH ride characteris...

Re: Genesis Vagabond - any good?

I agree with the NorwayCalling about it not being light or responsive. Although I didn't get on with it. Always felt like Id pedal as hard as I could and it just went "and what do you want me to do about it". Conversely my CAADX is an over excited spanniel yelping "again, again, come...

Re: Genesis Vagabond - any good?

is it any good - yes and rides nicely - however its not in anyway "light" or "responsive". Load it up with bikepacking kit and this becomes a moot point anyway. Also frame size is a bit non-standard, you do need to get a leg over one before committing. I liked my time with this ...

I know a normal 29er wheel can fit, but not sure about 29 plus.
