Alpkit Fantom down jacket.

Had this jacket for a couple of years now but rarely used due to it being just to warm. It still looks brand new apart from a tiny tear 6mm low down on the left hand side. 650 hydro down fill and only 642g so super useable. Still £229 on Alpkit but ready to send to you for £85 posted….. The size is ...

Re: MSR Whisperlight stove advice

Many Thanks, i'll order the service kit just in case. Cheers Learn how it's done at home. This way you may find some parts not needed. I never took/take a full service kit with me, unless yaks/dzos/donkeys/horses are carrying my stuff around. Also never had a full spare pump with me. For trips of m...

MSR Whisperlight stove advice

Gonna be heading to Asia as soon as possible and I've only ever used my gas burner. I know I won't be able to get gas canisters most of the time so have bought a MSR whisper light International and intend to run it on standard petrol, just after any do and don't and should I get the service/expediti...

WTD, 10 x 2/3 speed Shimano trigger shifters,

Hi, I'm after a set (or just the right) 10 x 2/3 speed trigger shifters for flat bar, need to be Shimano and in good condition or new.
Need something that has a bar clamp on it, no I-spec.
Thanks

directdrive wrote: Mon Mar 08, 2021 7:52 pm You after the Speed Dials specifically? Or just MTB flat bar levers?

Got some Deores up for sale that I just pulled off my BB7 setup.
This is the first time I've used BB7, so just want something that will work well and are reliable.
Do you think your Deores fit the bill ???

Cheers

Re: Has anyone fitted a rack to a bolt through sus fork

this tour will be 12-18 months Depending on where you're going, is a suss fork the best choice for such a long tour? My rockshox are meant to have the lowers serviced every 50 hours and the air spring and damper serviced every 200 hours. These intervals can be stretched a lot but even if you only r...

Looks like you could attach the back of this rack to the fork crown for a bit more stability.
Could be the best option.

Re: Has anyone fitted a rack to a bolt through sus fork

I've been bikepack racing for a few years and used a wild cat harness and it's worked well, but this tour will be 12-18 months and I just think front and rear paniers will be an easier option.
I'm gonna have a look at the racks suggested above, Thanks

Has anyone fitted a rack to a bolt through sus fork

Hi, I'm going on a long tour on my hardtail 29er MTB and want to fit a front rack, I've seen the Axiom one but it fits on the QR so it's not suitable as I have a 15mm bolt through, just wondered if anyone has done this ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
