Re: BB200 Tracking Page
Not quite sure how ive done it, but managed to turn my Samsung S10 into a Spot Tracker and linkup to the Spotwalla Tracking Page using Bubbler GPS App. It was quite easy really. I have a big 26,000 battery so should keep me going for 24 hours. Anyway my tracking updates every 15min and my tracking ...

Did a night ride and tested new Shimano MW7 Goretex boots. Very impressed, feel super comfy - like slippers and very warm and dry.

Re: Bb200 Waffle Thread.
Moist https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2656311 Beyond moist. The Norgies are saying 65 mm of rain for Dolgellau between now and the start, and 31 mm of rain during the event. :| Even by Welsh standards, that’s a lot. But it’s the same for everyone, so just put head down and get on with it :-bd Edit: o...

Re: Bb200 Waffle Thread.
I've just swapped out my 2.5 DHF for a WTB ranger 2.8. looks similar tread pattern to the Rocket Ron.
On another note...anyone know if there are showers we can use at the finish or should i expect no luxury like that whatsoever, and resort to babywipe bath / dip in the nearest river.

Re: What you done t' your bike today
Switched out the 2.6 DHF front and rear for a faster rolling WTB Ranger 2.8. Fitted bike bags and sleeping bag and made a huge list of stuff to pack. Also stripped my Crank Bros Msllet pedals and packed with grease, fitted new chain and oiled! Ordered some new Shimano MW7 boots for delivery tomorrow...

When i spoke to exposure they said if you do this test, run a fan over them to simulate air flow. They are designed to be run with airflow to cool them.

Re: Bb200 Waffle Thread.
Newby Question - is the dropping of a "Cache" frowned upon? I see there is little resupply from Barmouth onwards and i can happen to cross the route on my travel down on Friday night. I was thinking of stashing a bottle of water and some food which might perk me up at 3am, but didnt want t...

Re: BB200 - who's staying where?
Can we campervan at the start in the youth club car park? I'd prefer if people didn't. It's a residential area and everyone is very good with us, I don't want to give them any reason at all to stop that from being the case. Plenty of other spots nearby - but the Star's probably worth the trip. Unde...

Ditto, i did a 3 peaks CX practice run on my Ti Road Bike with 50mm deep section Carbon Clinchers down Jacobs Ladder at 10pm in the dark a few weeks ago....didnt even dab! Prospect of doing it in the day would not be good, as the exposure would prob put me off! That descent doesnt took technical at ...

Can we campervan at the start in the youth club car park? Im driving from the North so dont fancy a 20min extra drive to the Star then back again in the Morning.
