Thanks for taking the trouble to sift through all of the year's entries Phil. Can't have been easy but it's certainly much appreciated by us BAMmers!

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.

Thinking back on it I did feel a bit of something going on in the other ear shortly after so I think it went straight through  I personally think that night follows day so for instance if I was hoping to bivvy on the 1st of the month it would be the night after the day of the 1st . Mind you th...

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.

12/12 for 2020 The weather forecast said it could possibly snow around 5am so seemed like the perfect night to get December done ,that was thinking around lunchtime by 5 o'clock the car was frozen up and my resolve was wavering . I loaded the bike convinced myself it wasn't that cold and I have boug...

You can social with up to 6 people outside. Nothing wrong with a bivi. As far as I am aware we are not in any of the tiers in England at...

Re: Bivvy a month 2020.

10/10 for2020 I had hoped to get out for another bivvy before the end of the month but it's not going to happen so I will have to fall back on my night out on the BB200 . Things didn't go according to plan as I got lost in the dark on Hay Bluff and ended up in the wrong valley but it was a very nice...

Re: My BB200 2020 (may contain spoilers).

Well that was an experience I was doing ok until I missed the bridleway off Offa's Dyke the Garmin said I was on track even though I had my doubts I got to the ridge when the arrow suddenly split from the correct route so I had climbed much higher than I needed, amazing sunset over Pen-y-fan as a co...

Re: BB200 2020

If I have enough dry weather to finish the job I am doing at the moment I hope to set off towards the end of next week from Builth Wells early morning in the wildly optimistic hope that I might get to Crickhowell for late food . I know most of the route after the much discussed track/river to beyond...
