5/5 17/17 This has been an excellent way to spend the weekend in isolation i didnt get onto the grid reference idea but it was a great one well done Reg and John . 2/2 Like a lot of others it was touch and go wether I was going to get out supposed to be moving next weekend so no time for an adventure the stars were out Thursday evening and forecast said the inevitable rain would be arriving about 9 Friday morning so I packed the bike and headed of up the hill ...

Me and a mate did it in 2018 with the intention to enjoy it the only deadline we had was to get back for the group start and it took about 10 and a half days didnt get going in the mornings until about 9 cafe and food stops were relaxed and we had amazing weather it would have been a different story...
