Welcome ! I would recommend a version of Wainrights coast to coast. Lakes, Yorkshire and North York moors. Some off road and pubs to camp at. Could tie in with going north. Also look at sustrans for quieter routes, some off road. September is usually nice weather here so you have timed it well. If ...
