99.77km, 3120m ascent.
This an on or off road route ?? , looks good either way.

Did a couple of the midweek Audax 100k rides in the Peaks last year good routes, most with 2000m of climbing and the last one was just over 3000m

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024

February BAM was meant to be the Winter Jennride, but that didn't happen due to feeling like an Otter for 7hrs. Anyway managed to get out late as in gone 11pm on the 29th  , I'd spotted a brand new gazebo which had been erected on a school feild on a ride last week and thought yep that will do ...

Re: Which chain lube?

Currently using Squirt lube seems ok, a real test for it was last years BB200 and it worked pretty well considering what it had to deal with. Wiped down and re-applied at Rhayader after all the rivers just as a precaution really to ensure it was smooth to the end unlike myself :-bd

Old chains & cassettes

What do people do with their old ones ? I have about 15 or so chains & numerous cassettes all over the garage at the moment, I don't currently own a welder but may buy a second hand one to maybe make some bike kinda art/tat.
Anyone have any ideas. Cheers

Late starter here after a really crappy start to the year with the back end of December rolling into January with a chest infection and then with all my luck in the world I managed to land myself in bed for a few days with a positive Covid test and felt pretty rough. A surprisingly tough task when you factor in family life, work and whatever pops up in between. My first year of trying this and failed after a run of 9 which I'll take tbh. Loved checking out the pics and stories throughout the year and some of the places people are willing to sleep to get the job ...
