Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Is Strava still completely useless for doing off road routes? As for how I've been doing it. Acetate on my screen (with a grid) then using GPSies at the appropriate zoom level. Old skool tech! lol I don't actually know of any mapping sites (aside from the Strava addon mentioned above) that will sho...

How was the Sandstone Way ? on my list of to do's when I pull my finger out I might do more of a write-up, but to summarise (and this is from someone who loves Northumberland, and is a sucker for a bit of punishment on the bike): Don't bother. Definitely not in winter, but bits wouldn't be much fun...

Is it just me, but after seeing Mad Max as a kid I had a feeling the world was one day going to end just like this. I've been preppin my whole life but don't see an Audi estate being any compromise to The Road Warriors V8 Interceptor with blower hanging out the bonnet, come to think of it I don't th...

Re: How to plan a route....
I find Strava's route builder to be by far the best way of plotting routes Ian. The amount of data they have means their heatmap is miles better than anyone else's and that will ultimately give you the best indication of what the most rideable trails are. When's Ruth's event? I'll second Strava for...

Don’t know if anyone would be interested in this little compact stove, I actually use one myself and after I purchased mine the price went up to £15 for a while but just spotted it back down to £7-8, it works really well tbh compact lightweight 👍🏼 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%...
