Anyone doing the OMM next weekend?

I started a similar thread this time last year and it all went a bit tits up... Anyone carried their entry over from last year's blow out? The last one I did was about 14 years ago and I'm making a very ill advised return to the long score with my bro. We plan on very much making up the numbers.

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

I know this probably isn't the target demographic for Italian bibshorts, but various ale (with an accent on the e, rather than the Newcastle brown variety) products are currently discounted on wiggle, including larger sizes of their very excellent shorts for 30 quid. As is the norm for Italian stuff...

Wanted - tent

Through prevarication, it looks like I have missed out on the alpkit Ordos advertised here, so just wondered if anyone had anything similar they're looking to move on? For context, I've been hoodwinked into doing the omm at the end of the month and I'm not sure my old big Agnes tent is up to a night...

Interested. How old is it and roughly how many nights do you reckon it's been used? Thanks

All understood James. Makes the purchase of a ticket a little bit precarious, but I imagine they're refundable.

Unless I'm reading it wrong, it doesn't look like they've got a boat yet? Looks amazing if they get it going though.

I've got a brand new set of genetic digest flared bars that are 440 at hoods and 580 at drops. 28 posted if they're any good to you.

Re: Any more bamboo t shirts in the offing?

I can look into it - they're not easy to source and I imagine the situation has become worse rather than better. It also makes life trickier with minimum numbers and how they effect prices. We have to take a guess on numbers in order to work out a price - in the case of the latest jerseys, it appea...

Any more bamboo t shirts in the offing?

As comfortably the finest t shirts I have ever owned, I'm always hoping you'll open orders for another batch of the bamboos stu. Anything in the pipeline? Alternatively, if anyone mis-ordered and has one in large they're not using, drop me a pm! Thanks.

All understood and thanks for the advice. I genuinely have no idea what its worth, but was thinking 350 or so posted for f&f plus headset, BB etc and 700 all in. Feel free to put me straight if I'm way off the mark!

Singular rooster in large

Looking to move on my singular rooster in large. It's been great for bikepacking and mucking about in the forest, but I just find myself using the gravel bike more and needs must. It's still in the original blue and, in common with most of the original production run, the paintwork is pretty awful -...

Re: Which suspension seatpost? Experiences/Recommendations

I've been lusting after a pnw coast dropper/suspension post. Sadly no personal experience of it, but maybe one to add to your list? Ps there's a bloke selling a redshift post for 175 over on yacf. You might have to register with the site to view his ad. https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=12381...

Re: What's the default GPS recommendation nowadays?

Having had 5 Garmin's, from etrex through the 705 and 500 to the 810 and 820, I've just switched to a wahoo bolt and am really pleased with it. The os seems a lot more intuitive than I was used to with Garmin and (so far!) less glitchy. Screen is decent, battery life is good at about 12hrs, memory i...

Broken collarbone

Just broken my collarbone (Tuesday) and the enforced inactivity is already doing my head in. Anyone got any advice or morale boosting stories of their own clavicular misadventure they're happy to share? For context, mine has apparently broken into 3 bits near the shoulder joint. It's cracked along t...
