Having a wide mouth does't help.

I really need the wide mouth because on my longer trips I use an ultraviolet sterilizer.
Glad to know I am not the only one with dribbling issues.

I have always used the SIS bottles, Science in Sport, but find the wide mouth, 1 litre bottles, always leak. Had 3.
Research has suggested that the Zefal 1 litre is a better bottle.
Anyone got any experience with them or others? Am I chasing the leak free impossible?

Starting a short tour tomorrow in the Alps, so will do some experimenting. Going to take a Chapstick and knife. The Privateer shoes have a big tread, so most of the pedal is in contact. A big job if it is the sole on the pedal. A lot of cutting. Also noticed that the uppers, tongue, squeak a lot. Hm...

In Spain, if you are on a fancy race bike or touring set up, you can bring your bike inside most large supermarkets. I always ask and always get a yes - with a smile.
