I have a flight from London Gatwick at 7am. Check in 5am. Wake up 4am. Last couple of times I slept at the airport. But that was bad with the tanoy sounding every 15mins. I have an idea to do the Route des Grandes Alpes in sections. (Geneva/Nice). In winter, making snow shelters on the cols.

A side question for those who have them -

Are they for snow only or can they be used on roads too? How long would they last on road?

I did a couple of overnighters in the Alps last winter, on mtb tyres, not safe when the snowploughs had gone down to the icy tarmac.

I'm seeing 25°C everyday for Marrakech. What temps are you seeing/after?
