There are a few of us on here who have biked in Nepal. So when the heights get over 4000m we can start the competition.

Is it really as simple as just giving a buyer my email address and that is it?

Something about 'friends n family' means no charges?

Pay Pal

It seems that I have a P pal account that I used once 15 years ago. I typed in my old email and the account came up with all my old and present addresses listed and my latest bank card number. A bit creepy and a bit too easy to access and start using. I'm a bit worried about the security with this. ...

Thanks for the offer. There is a Hermes pick up near me, so postage is not a problem. It is just sorting out receiving payment. But thanks again.

Such a shame for all the spectators on Cormet de Roselend who would have camped out in their 100's. Some up to a week in advance to get the best spots.

And it was bypassed.

The TdF is all about the spectators.

A summer rated down bag may get compressed by the weight of a bivi bag. Especially the heavier 3 layer Gortex or when it is wet. A lot of cold spots.

Brought back some memories. I can remember camping out in the San Bernadinos with amazing views over LA - with bears trying all night to steal the food. Not an honest bunch.
