Re: The post man's been ...

I don’t use Flickr and if it’s more complicated than clicking on my phone probably not. If it helps I ordered a red one then changed my mind to black. They rang me up to offer red stitching and zips if I wanted it on the black bag. Also rang me again to query delivery instructions for safety of deliv...

Re: Poo

I want a trowel as stated above makes life far nicer and you get a better hole for burying. I’ve seen the Deuce which looks good for the “job”.
Thanks.

East Highland Way

Hello,
Has anyone ridden this route down to Fort Bill. Looking to use it as part of a loop but quick lunch time search aint found that much info. I think there’s a few water crossings to be done. Are these bypassable does anyone know if I’m rained on for the previous week!
Thanks

GPS computer things for luddites

Hello I’m after a gps Garmin or other for downloading gpx routes to. Nice and simple to use. I don’t want to be linking it to smartphones, strava etc just follow the arrow on the screen. Powered by batteries or able to power by a power bank. No tiny buttons as I’ve got fat fingers. Couple hundred po...

Howdy can anyone recommend a small pump that adapts for presta valves and standard fork shock valves? Don't want to be taking desperate pumps with me. Thanks

Re: Strange request - all night cafe near Lime Street?

May be a burger van near Lime Street can't think of any places open all night. Ask one of the station staff they should know. Not sure about there being a gem nearby it's quite lively in that bit of town. If you're not too late Bold Street has lots of eaty places 10 minute walk.

Great film. Well done for shooting it all. Flying out in about 6 weeks we’ll excited.
Is the pass a huge push or do you have to carry at points? I’m also dithering over footwear as I’m normally in spds but the Mrs is convinced it’s suicide! What did you wear if you don’t mind telling. Thanks

Re: Drinking water filters.

Hello, thanks for the replies. Can the Sawyer mini filter not be plugged straight into your water bladder or am I reading the site wrong? I’m not too clear on that as it looks pretty good and would reduce lots of faffing about if it can. I have a steripen brilliant bit of kit but bit wary of damage ...

Drinking water filters.

Hello, does any one have any experience to share of using filters for water. I'm sure you do. I'm looking at the Sawyer Mini Water Filter for a camelback set up. Aquapure water bottle for cage mounts. It's to cut down on the plastic bottles I'd have to buy on a trip. Good, bad experiences, fast glug...
