Re: my climashield apex 133 quilt

Thank you for the suggestion, I found some 155 width for £12 for a 2m length. I'm only 5'8" and less than 80kg so I think i can tweak the widths and lengths a bit. I was thinking 100gsm climashield as I'm a hot sleeper and could also use it over the top of one of my other bags to up the rating. Look...

Re: my climashield apex 133 quilt

This is filling me with all sorts of inspiration.. I think climashield might be a better place to start than diving into down, so to speak. (sorry not sorry for the puns) What would make good value inner and outer layers? I'm not after anything feather light or waterproof. The choices are bewildering!

Looooongshot - 24" rigid mtb fork

The same little 24" wheeler that is needing some shifter love has a fork alerady, but it probably weighs the same as the rest of the bike..

I wondered if there was a rigid aluminium one kicking about in a garage somewhere I could find a new home?

Thanks again for looking

7 speed shifters

Evening all, As above. Rebuding a very tidy 24" wheeled Kona Hula for my neighbour and the sti's are shot. I have some v brake levers but no shifters. I wondered if anyone had some taking up space I could exchange for some mini Mula for (see the kona joke?? Sorry, I'll get my coat) even just the r/H...

Vivoactive 3 *SOLD*

As above, recently upgraded to a vivoactive 4, so this is now looking for a new home. Just over a year old, with barely a mark on it. The only signs of wear are the strap & they are cosmetic only. Comes with box, manual and charging cable Link to garmin site - https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/57152...

I have a fairly decent carbon road one, but I'm guessing that's not quite what you're after?

Sorry for the resurrection! I didn't know you were involved in this James. It is genuinely a wonder and as you say, bulletproof. I have absolutely battered it in CX guise and enjoyed it on all day 100+ milers in road form. I can't wait til the kids are a bit older and we can f*ck off touring on it. ...
