Re: Riding with a camera

@ballibeg ta!

@northwind I've been looking at an American company that produces a clip that attaches to a harness or belt or shoulder strap with something similar to what you describe. There are some interesting solutions out there for sure

Riding with a camera

I've put up the question on a couple of Facebook posts, and I thought I'd ask here too.. Do any of you gents and ladies ride with a DSLR? I have a little Sony compact, but it's no rx100 and I've just dipped my toe into the big boy camera world with a bottom end of the spectrum nikon D3300. I'm thoro...

An old, but still remarkably functional Thermarest Trail Lite in a small flavour

600gms, r value of 3.8 for the princely sum of £5!

Loft is good on self inflation, but it has been stored rolled up so whether the r value still holds I shall have fun finding out

Re: WTD Project Two Vee & Disc

How long is the steerer on yours and what colour?

I have a set of black disc/vee that may fit the bill. I'm only a shorty, so the steerer is too long for me, but I've been reticent to cut it down.. Potential to swap?

I'll check the steerer on mine tonight

Re: MYOG - Climashield quilt - 100gsm

Cheers Nick.

I'm over the moon with it. It even fits around my lightweight down bag, so I should be good down below zero now.

Im trying to persuade mum she could make a cottage industry out of it.

I've definitely got plans for some more! I need to get her to teach me

Re: MYOG - Climashield quilt - 100gsm

i can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it! Mum says it's currently at just under 550gms, but i suspect with some judicious trimming of the webbing and shockcord we may get it under that. I did think with the poppers either side of the zip we could've dropped the 4th buckle but alas my idea was too l...
