Re: Wild Country Zephyros Compact 2 Tent Opinions Please

I've had one for several years now. Nice and spacious for one. Also works for two. New versions have smaller/foldable end poles I believe that reduce pack length.

A bit heavy and big for bike travel but great for car camping or if shared between two.

I like mine.

A decent set of earplugs. And if I may have a second, a wooly hat i can pull over my eyes when I'm sleeping.

I struggle to sleep if there is noise and light!

Chrome Industries Kadet Sling Bag. £30 posted. Bought this for commuting around London but barely used as work gave me a bigger laptop which meant I needed a bigger bag to fit everything in! I think it has been used for a grand total of two trips. Comes with the original tag and plastic bag from th...

Dorset Gravel Dash, possibly KAW, Singlespeed UK champs. And hopefully some other local bivvies between.

Plus I've booked a bike for Lanzarote next month and I'm starting my own biz so most likely will be time poor, cash poor, so cycling to keep me sane.

Re: All day comfortable, do-it-all waterproof trousers?

I often forget I'm waering my OMM Kameleika (spelling?!) trousers. Although you'll need some leggings under them as they would feel a bit odd next to the skin all day. They also look kinda normal in a technical way.

Hey Shaf, is this my old one? I’d be up for the fork and frame if you are happy to post? Happy to pay a bit more too.

But I appreciate you may want to wait to see if you have any offers for the entire bike!

How hot do we think a stove gets?

My Alpkit Brukit (Jetboil clone) windshield has detached itself from the mug. It appears to have been glued originally. Alpkit appear to have no interest in replacing it (to be fair it's 4 years old), and won't recommend a glue to fix it. A quick google suggests there's plenty of high temperature gl...

SOLD Decathlon Rockrider AM Trail Trousers (36" waist)

A bit large for me. I can't remember the exact size and I've removed the labels! But I'd say they're a generous 36" waist. They have some adjustment and are elasticated so would probably fit a size down and up quite comfortably. They also seem to have magical water shedding properties! https://...

Re: Garmin gpx troubles. Advice needed!

Righto. I've found that converting the gpx files that Komoot produces into KCX course files on Alltrails does the job. But this is a level of fafd it would be good to avoid! Whitestone - how do you change the output from track to route? I'm using the Komoot app rather than website so maybe that is t...

Re: Garmin gpx troubles. Advice needed!

It's a gpx. Although I've just converted it on Alltrails to a tcx file and reduced the points to under 200. I think that may have worked. Hang on I'll check!

Garmin gpx troubles. Advice needed!

I have an old Edge 810. I've been using it for a couple of months for navigation. The longest ride I've done was about 100km using a gpx provided by the event organiser. The turn by turn direction and map navigation worked fine. Anyway i planned a little route this morning on Komoot and transferred ...

Re: Gravel bike clothing

I have a couple of pairs of Madison Roam shorts that don't look out of place in the pub. They have a slight herringbone pattern. On the top I opt for a cotton mix or 'tech' fabric casual tee that looks civilian but doesn't hold sweat.

Underneath are hidden bib shorts...
