Re: Toddler Sleeping bag recommendations/advice

I have been using (or rather daughter has) a Big Agnes Little Red (https://www.bigagnes.com/products/little-red-15) since she was about 2.5/3 years old. Used it down to about 5 degrees C Thermarest goes in the back as it's build sort of like a topbag, so that when they squirm, it stays underneath t...

Thanks for the offer, I think I've got some lying around in the workshop so I'll have a look this weekend and try that idea.

Re: Modifying Drybags

Yes they do line up, but sadly the 20l bags are too big in diameter. I was tempted for the lomo as they only open at one end and are 7.50 each

Modifying Drybags

I want to add some webbing loops to a couple of cheap hard wearing drybags (lomo ones) so I can use them with my aeroe rack so. The loops need to be there for the straps to go through so the bag doesn't migrate sideways ways. I don't want to sew them on as I want the bags to stay dry. Would fabric g...

Re: Seat Pack advice please

I've got an aeroe spider rack and it's absolutely brilliant, it'll fit all my bikes as it just clamps to the seat stays. You can also alter the position and number of cradles so you could easily carry two or even 3 12ish litre dry bags on the back. In fact I liked it so much I've got their front rac...

Re: Bikerafting with children?

Just to throw in my 2p worth. I have a longshore 280 which is a 2 person raft, it is cramped for my legs with my 4yo in the front and I wouldn't be happy putting a bike on with him in there as it would cover where he sits. If I was seriously considering bike rafting for 2 with a single raft I would ...

Wtd fat bike hubs

Evening all,

I'm hunting for a set of cheap (the cheaper the better) fatty hubs to build up a second 29er wheelset for my fat bike to commute on.

I'm after a 135mm front in qr and a 170mm rear also in qr.

Cheers

Re: WRT and routes.

I love the format of the wrt as it is so would suggest keeping it, but an option could be a sort of halfway house in that for the extra donation you get given directional segments that cover a nice bit of trail or something, that you then make your own links between. I realise that the grid points n...

Re: Wtd: fat bike front rack

I could be interested in that, as the rack I have is the blackburn which could then go on the front as it'll do both. Just need to work out how to fit them at the top of the fork as it only has a hole through the bottom of the steerer and not rack bosses.

Wtd: fat bike front rack

Does anyone have a front rack they are looking to move on. I've decided that lightweight and my fatbike aren't compatible and want to try and do some bikepacking with my toddler this year so am thinking rack and panniers. Something like a surly 8pack rack would be great. Also does anyone have a chea...

Re: Can you bike packraft on a budget?

It's to do with the volume of the bow, on the alpaka it's a high volume design so is more buoyant even with a bike on it, whereas the neris has a much lower volume bow so the bike makes it less stable as its not designed to hold as much weight there.

Re: Poggies for kids

We have a handle bar muff for a pushchair that just fits round, bit awkward with the stem. I am really waiting for the kids ride shotgun pogies which I believe should be released around Dec 1st Any info or links on these at all? This is the push chair one we have: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pushchair...
