When i’ve described the WRT to family they’ve definately looked at me as though I am one. Not seen that phrase used though since I left London.thenorthwind wrote: Was googling to check the dates of the WRT (partner's birthday, damn!). I'll let you spot it. Apt?

Re: What lock???
It's an obvious trade off between weight and security: A HipLok Z Lok weighs 20g and is basically an armoured zip tie that will act as a deterrent against a casual tea leaf but not much more than that. Uses a universal key. A retractable cable lock like a Knog Milkman weighs about 150g but it's just...

FS Shoes
Shimano MT32 shoes, size 43, bought as spares a few years ago and only worn a handful of times. Sizing wise, I'm a UK 8.5 and I find them a bit small.
Shimano MT32 shoes, size 40, worn once.
Both pairs have got SPD cleats fitted. £20 posted each.

I showed my wife this thread to show that that I'm an amateur, I don't have too many bikes and I really don't spend that much on my hobby:

Marin Bobcat Trail (left in Marin coincidentally)
Lemond Nevada City
Norco LRT2 (stolen)

Re: Bar Tape. And Tyres.
If you want something fast rolling for gravel then there's also Road Plus tyres to consider though they might be a bit narrow (1.9"), e.g. WTB Byways or Compass Switchback Hill. As a slight tangent since I was looking for a new set of similar but non-tubeless tyres this lunchtime, I wish tyre m...

I noticed on Singletrack that Wolf Components do a collar (Valais 25) that you attach your saddlebag to. It’s not cheap at $25 and you lose a bit of drop but it might work for you

We ended up with a Qeridoo Speedkid2 - not cheap but it's been rock solid. It copes with road, rail trails and the Cannock Chase green trail without any issues.
