Re: WTD: wildcat tiger harness

Hi - I've got a rear one where you put your own dry bag in it. Its the original version of the one in the link below. Not made of the light weight materials like the current one but black with the same capacity. Works well with a tappered dry bag that alpkit sell. https://wildcat.cc/collections/sea...

Re: Knee/Leg warmers for normal thighs

What size are those two? The Morvelo ones are labelled L/XL. They measure 40cm unstreched and stretch out to about 62cm. They are tight but not uncomfortably so. The Pearl Izumi ones are looser but I don't have them to hand to measure. They're quite old too. Brilliant, thanks bud. Going to LBS late...

Yeah, I'll be there Friday night. Got to live up to my reputation and spend the evening before a hard ride drinking. Not bivvying though, I sleep badly enough outdoors not to want to do two days of it in a row. Will be at the The Railway. Nice one rich, will see you there all being well. :-bd

They were good quality, although they did have an internal seam. Could be worth a look..

Re: Knee/Leg warmers for thunderthighs

Their XL can't be very big, 50 cm thigh is not particularly large! I have some Morvelo and some Pearl Izumi, both are fine on my 58cm thighs and in cycling terms I'm not over-endowed in muscular thigh terms, infact they need to be tucked in my bibshorts to stay up  I've just realised that! Wh...

Knee/Leg warmers for normal thighs

I bought some XL galibier knee warmers and they are only big enough for my calves.
Can anyone suggest some with leg grippers that will fit the chunky of thigh? (50cm ish)
Thanks.

I'd like to have read a lot more about "day to day" experiences of women and cycling - what has and is being done to encourage personal transport for women by bike and who's doing the encouraging/enabling and how; what barriers there are and how they have been overcome (or not); more abou...
