cheers chew, bikehike looks much easier to use. do you know how i load the grid refs, ive plotted them in basecamp andsaved them as a gpx file on my desktop

Basecamp is making me very sweary, any one got any tips apart from get a paper map. I've used ridewithgps to plot routes for other rides but it's got no way of importing the waypoints. Help!

Oh they also now do the Big Fat Dummy it takes fat bike wheels or you can build it with 29+ wheels

Unsurprisingly I had one for a few years, rode it every where including john O'groats to lands end. Fantastic bikes, the handling makes the length disappear. Off road they work very well, very comfy due to the length wise flex. The only thing is the length makes it next to impossible to loft the fro...

Just got around to washing the bike afterwards last nights BAM trip, on the ride I picked up about four hawthorns which I pulled out due to the twigs clattering about. On one particularly difficult setup I had reduced myself to a sweaty heap pumping away (stop sniggering at the back) In desperation i gaffer taped the tyre to the rim, worked a treat. I removed the tape after setup... :-bd

Slight thread hijack but I might help the op, I too have been looking at carbon forks, the exotic and the MRP rock solid look likely candidates. My ecr fork is 47mm offset and 468mm axel to crown, Both the carbon forks are available in 44mm and 465 but the mrp also comes in 490mm. Obviously the 490 ...
