Re: Watery eyes, your solutions.
How about these ? Goggles with reading lens. I use their safety glasses for cycling, 1.5 lens is close to my prescription and as they’re cheap not too worried about damaging them

Re: Head torch recommendations?
Not wishing to hijack the thread, I'm looking for a lightweight head torch with a rear red led.
I know Vango do one but it’s front lumens are a bit low. I use a Petzl TIKKA plus and clip on a cheap flashing led on the rear but would be interested in an integrated unit if one is out there?

Re: Fatfighters 2019 Weigh-in Thread
No, not for me you don't, I just pop them in the spreadsheet as they appear. In other news, I've just done and 8.5km run in deep fresh snow. Slow as hell and insanely hard work. Now.....to beer or not to beer? That is the question. Beer, isotonic, apparently, Did 5 mile this morning too, aft...

Re: Fatfighters 2019 Weigh-in Thread
102.8 kg :-bd Suprised, a better week, man flu on the wane and a couple of runs done. With Keith on this one, work isn’t conducive to trying to get fitter and lose weight. Unpredictable hours and lots of driving tends to draw me to the couch. Working in the cold takes it right out of me, last couple...

Re: Fatfighters 2019 Weigh-in Thread
102.5, kilo off happy with that considering working away. A lack of proper exercise due to a strained muscle in my hip flexors area has knocked me back a bit (getting old ) Hopefully try a CV session at the gym tonight to test it out.

Re: Fatfighters 2018 Weigh-in Thread
I've got to say I havent bothered weighing myself today. After my shocker on Tuesday my head went back up my arse, but need to get on track. Cheers SeannyD, As for the 200 miler, where are you based? My reasoning for that one is I can get the ferry to Aberdeen, train to KOL and then cycle back to A...

Re: Fatfighters 2018 Weigh-in Thread
Sorry to hear about your heart issues M-d hope the medics come up with a fix other than a total ban on cycling. Keep planning your trips especially the 200 miles in a day, that sounds interesting, I would like to join you on that one if you don’t mind? Read an article in Cycling Weekly regarding the...
