Hi Rich. I have a Brand X dropper. No lever. Works well. Too thick for my SC. You can have it for postage (or a forum donation... whatever you decide) if any good
PM me and I'll get you some stats. Works well (well, it was when I removed it off the Pinnacle).

Re: Lael Wilcox off round the world
Thanks James. Yes, fair point you make there too. Sadly I'd never be able to see the country without some serious risk to life and limb. But maybe one day and you're probably right I shouldn't be so tough/harsh on/about Lael. I've no evidence of her acrually supporting the occupation as such and the...

NB. For completenes of information and to be getting it back on topic. No doubt she'll be visiting Israel and maybe even meeting Netanyahu this time. Good for her  Mods: apologies firstly and feel free to delete my post above. Just sick of the one sided sports-washing debate. Suits some but not...

Re: Lael Wilcox off round the world
I'll be honest, and I appreciate that many might not share my viewpoint. But ever since Lael mentioned the Israel Tour many years ago I've always had alarm bells in the back of my head. Nelson Mandela said after Apartheid was abolished that the freedom of the blacks of South Africa will never be com...

Well done Mick. I have a fiver yo donate to your defib mate, so hopefully well worth the challenge (sorry, it's not much is it, but still 1% of your target  ). I started training for the Yorkshireman and a couple weeks ago did 12 miles split over 2 runs, and over 1800ft of elevation. Knees swel...

Check out this route on Strava: https://strava.app.link/siT1mrULRIb — KBWra 2024 Dews-Brum
Route updated and is above. Thanks again everyone and I think it's all decent riding now. Now silly roads involved. Elevation has gotten a bit much and I'm slightly worried for my knees. But, thats life!

Re: Today's Run
Training for this Yorkshire Man marathon in Sept and trying not to hurt my knees in the process. This last couple of weeks was a bit, 'on the edge'. Last week whilst riding with my final fasting ride I tried to chase a lycra cyclist on his gravel bike. Silly move as I was obviously never catching hi...

Re: Anyone local to these areas able to review (sections of) my route pls?
Been looking at the route as well as suggestions today. Thanks so much for all the input and especially those that helped by editing some gps files. After atk and someone earlier mentioned the Panorama Walkway and Andy put it in the file - meaning I could see there wasn't much extra mileage to the t...

Hi Pete. Not sure if reduced drop (like 4mm as compared to standard 10mm from heel to toes) is gonna be a put-off. But, there is an up and coming company called TOPO. If you type in Topo Athletic you'll find plenty info about them and reviews from most users are excellent. Thing that sold me (as wel...

Second day of inermittent fasting today (aside from the ramadhan fasting which is always full-on and finished a few days ago). Been using this app free version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.fastic.app My biggest problem is eating late. So yesterdays meal at 2000 was my last, been ...

Thanks very much Andy. Will go over it all again shortly and absorb all the info. Panorama walkway will probably take me too far off track as there is some climbs that need keeping in through Wales.
Really appreciate everyones help and will look at my choices around Manchester also.

Re: Fat Fighters '24. The year for deflation!
NB. Since I did mention religion (and I try not to as I know it irritates people these days, sorry) I may as well elaborate. In Islam we're encouraged to remember that the body is on loan from God. One day it will go back and we'll be questioned about it and how we looked after it. Hence my plan is ...

Fri 12th Jan - 86.0kg Sat 9th Mar - 88.5kg Not sure what gone on there. Entered a marathon and runnng more, cycling less (cos target is 63miles or nothing which on hindsight might be a bit silly!). Lots of food going in I guess or maybe the muscles are becoming more dense. Belly still looks a bit p...
