Re: BB200 2024
What was wrong with the bridge? I did make a point of shifting the gpx line off the track and towards the little bridge  https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AP1GczPqlu-7rnoJWTQxxCEYCbjZVLVgXVHL8jnMuPHbFbuRZXOEhp38-3oWTeYhXaozBrkfBRDVmeWlfQdCJZ4s_ztfpxinsy44Gninl6-IaKrs3XfkNrg2mFn70NhTOVwjMN-...

Re: How do you download routes?
Shaf, I sometimes have the same problem when downloading routes from our cycle club app. As I understand it, some sites and/or browsers try to be clever will see that the contents of the .gpx are just XML and so try and process it accordingly. It may be that they suffix any file with a .xml too so ...

Re: 29+ mudguard options
Is that the large one Shaf? Dunno. Didn't realise they have another size Tom. It was for 27.5 and 29er wheels and looks big enough to fit a semi fat bike. I'll grab some pics in a bit if you like and hoping you're close enough for me to hand deliver (or leave in a safe place). FWIW, improbably gonn...

Re: 29+ mudguard options
Magnificent set of responses - thanks all. Looks like a mudhugger is ideal for the rear. I bought a Mudhugger rear with the extension Tom. Nut didn't end up using it. If you're buying one anyway, then happy to be the seller :-bd I got for £30 so if that seems a decent price, I'll absorb postage.

Re: How do you download routes?
I fixed the problem (or found what the problem was for me). Opened the forum/routes via the laptop. Instead of opening as an XML file (whatever that means) which isn't recognised by my phone/comp apps, it instead opened as a gpx when downloaded on the computer. Managed to load it into Google maps an...

Re: How do you download routes?
I'm in a similar camp having not followed a GPS track yet...but I can (and did today) save a gpx and upload to Outdoor Active. I've no intention of following it properly though, just a reference on the electric map in my pocket. Shaf, if you're on Android using chrome, then it'll be in your downloa...

Re: How do you download routes?
Must be my phone just playing up. After clicking on a gpx file usually I get a link to open with my OS reader or Wahoo app. OS reader (outdooractive) isn't showing up and clicking to load with wahoo shows me this.

Re: How do you download routes?
Must be my browser (DuckDuckGo). It often does some weird things I think. I downloaded this from RWGPS - I believe it's the one.
I've tried chrome but will try Firefox too in case. Just for ref.

Nah. Not working for me. Just downloads an XML file whatever that is. Anyway, if anyone has the big bear 520 route as a GPS can I grab it please. Just yo take a peek and load it into Google maps. How do you download routes?
In the routes page. If I click a link for the GPS. It only let's me open in my Wahoo, but even then it won't open (some sort of unsupported message. Is the answer to go via the donate button or something else? Maybe I need to login via laptop and try that way. Sorry for a seemingly silly question in...

I hate having cold or wet hands, and am yet to find a perfect glove I found my perfect winter gloves years ago. Is it something that could have handled the whole of this weekends BB200/300. In which case I had bought some new Ra pha Brevet gloves. They performed amazing throughout IMO. Bit expensive though and the cushioning was second to none

Hell of a waiting list at your dentist Nah. He's so good Dave. Private dentist. But most of the time doesn't charge me. Maybe cos I know him for over 40 years or so, though I can't quite put my finger on it. Always go to the counter to ask for the charge. Brace myself for a £75 (minimal I think) bi...

Yes, it's not Friday, but felt like I had to achieve something this weekend as I wasn't thrashing myself half to death in Wales. So broke out the Trend T3 Router I bought over twenty years ago and have never used . Made a wooden box type thing to house some UV tubes to do alternative photographic p...
