Re: Clearout (HOPE wheelset etc)

Hope Pro2 EVO hubs built into Mavic OPEN PRO rims. 32h. 100mm front and rear 135mm quick release (no skewers). Onviously they can be converted to bolt through with corrwct adaptors. Front bearigs running really smooth but the rear has a very slight notchiness but I imagine they still ride well. Rims...

Re: What's your current dream bike?

A slightly whippy custom steel hardtail, built light, really compact and fairly slack but not that long. A few useful braze ons and attachment points. A dual crown Lefty 100mm fork. Full XCO spec but nothing too weenie and flimsy. Mid range drivetrain, top end brakes, XTR cranks on some kind of BB ...

1 small nick on each arm about 7mm long.
Size is XL so if you're a large in Craghoppers then this should fit fine.

Ton. When I had my heart infection (HR was down to about 35 even a week after leaving CCU) the consultant afterwards told me I couldn't ride properly. Twas a nasty feeling and I did some pootling briefly. A mate of mine who I did the Mary Townley Loop first time ever many many years ago, ended up ha...

I'm gonna go with the rat. Once we had one in a mates house and there was the teo of us with bats trying to fight it on the other side of the living room. Frightening stuff (for us, he/she obviously had everything in it's stride).

Re: iPhone (the did you know this…)

Ok, for the sake of balance, here's an Android tip... Can't be sure if it's peculiar to Motorola phones or not but, if you need to turn on the torch, you can either go through the menus/UI to do this, or - wait for it - just shake the phone, to turn the torch on or off. I accidentally discovered th...

Re: iPhone (the did you know this…)

I was gonna ask if it does the same with birds but it's pointless for me as they never really hand around... Shaf, you may want to give the app BirdNET a try. With that you can let the app listen to any bird making a noise and have it tell you what species it is. Of course birds need to be chirping...

Yellow hammer? https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/wildlife-guides/bird-a-z/yellowhammer/ Quite possibly Phil. Though it was too fast to be certain, but what I saw had a distinct khaki colour coar it seemed. It gives me a bit of lead at least. I assume it was a 'bunting' of some sort (unless...
