Salsa Warroad Frameset 54.5cm red SOLD
Struggled to shift as a full bike so now I’ve broken down. The frame is in excellent condition and had frame protection applied from new (which I have now removed). There are a couple of tiny chips and some of the paint around the brake mounts has come off. I purchased it brand new from Lyon Equipme...

Geometry basically. This is a 2015 frame so none of the modern long / low / slack trail bike angles.

Salsa Cowchipper 46cm
These are in good condition and are barely used. I’m pretty sure these are the ‘deluxe’ version but it does not say that on the bar itself so not sure how I can tell. The hood to hood dimension is 46cm but happy to send you a photo of other dimensions as these flare a fair bit. Looking for £25 plus ...

Re: New Trail Shoes
I have a set of Salomon XA pro gtx which are slightly more rugged than the Speedcross. I’ve just got back from the lakes and they were brilliant on hikes.
If you are planning on long runs in them they may be a tad stiff though. I think Sportsshoes have them on offer at the moment for £110 or so.

White Industries M15 front hub 32 hole 6 bolt black
I’ve switched my hub out to a Son 28 so have this spare.
It’s a 12mm thru axle but comes with the kit to convert to QR.
These things are bombproof. Had the bearings replaced about 150 miles ago.

Re: WTD: hope QR end caps
Seems like the rear hub needs a specific set but the front ones will work.
If you’re willing to let the front set go, please let me know how much you’d like for them.
Cheers

I managed to score some of the cheap hope wheels from wiggle for my wife’s surly.
Does anyone have some QR end caps lying around for Pro 4 / 5 hubs they’d like to move on please?
Many thanks

Route advice please Devon
Hullo all,
Myself and a few friends have a free weekend in early March and the plan is to drive to Devon on the friday, and do a route in either Dartmoor or exmoor (loop).
I’ve heard Dartmoor can get a bit damp for camp spots - any route recommendations/ general advice?
Cheers

Anyone interested in a frame swap?
I have a 2016 (I think) salsa El mariachi purchased from these shores. It’s a superb bike but as my son has got into mtb I’ve bought a modern hardtail. Thus I’m looking to swap out the El Mariachi for something more general purpose for shop visits / commuting as well as bikepacking so looking for a ...

Re: Salsa Warroad owners….
Yeah it’s a bit odd really. Most bikes that can take a 650 x 47 have better 700c clearance than this. They claim the maximum is 36c I think. But I couldn’t fit a Vittoria Terreno something 38c in there.

Re: Salsa Warroad owners….
I did head out on it with 650b wheels on in the new forest in the summer. Was 45mins in when I realised I’d left my water bottles in the car. I sped back as fast as I could and ended up having a crash in the car park on a huge pothole. Cut myself up pretty badly. Since then the wheels have gone on t...

Re: Salsa Warroad owners….
Well I bought one of the cheap ones from Lyon and planned to use my fancy stans carbon wheelset with it with 38c tyres but they didn’t fit. I tried it with 650b but those wheels are now on my Fairlight Faran. Also I’ve been meaning to swap the 11-32 cassette for an 11-36 with my wolftooth road link ...

Re: Salsa Warroad owners….
I’ve not actually ridden my one further than 10 miles since I bought it….. thinking some guards will stop it collecting dust until the spring.
