29er boost wheelset
For sale is a non matching boost wheelset. Purchased to use with a new Stooge frame but I’ve realised I can’t afford another bike. Front wheel is a Vitus branded hub 15mm thru axle 6 bolt disc hub with WTB STI I30 Rim. Both in superb condition. Rear is a Sun Ringle DUROC 30 rim with a SRX 148 hub, 1...

I’m feeling much the same so have taken it upon myself to plan a couple of trips for next year. Mini tour of Brittany and King Alfred’s Way with a mate.

Avid Shorty 6 cantilever brakes
Bit of an unusual one on here but I have a set of these I purchased for my Cross Check but have found a set from BLB that are a bit more bling. They’re in good used nick. £25 including postage.
Very popular with CX racers, perfect for a retro frame build.

Re: Kinesis tripster v3 ti or an alternative?
FWIW I have the v1 Frameset and it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned. Never bike packed on it but have ridden on 80 mile mixed surface rides and on trails and it’s never let me down.

WTD: cheap touring / audax type frame 54cm ish
As title really
I have a load of bits that will make a fairly decent tourer so am looking to build into a bit of a beater bike that I’m not too precious about leaving locked up. Something like a Dawes Galaxy / Ridgeback Panorama / surly LHT
Thanks
Tom

Not high end but I have one of these you can have for £20. I’ve barely used it as it’s a bit too big for my needs so I use a little Topeak Tri bag.

I received the Cycling UK King Alfred’s Way guise today. It was expensive but very well put together. Seems very wild camp friendly. Just need to find some time in my life where I can ride the whole thing.

Surly Mountain Frame Bag 7
Selling this due to changes in the fleet.
I had a size 7 as this was a perfect fit for my Ogre and Krampus. I now have a Bridge Club and a Pugsley so need a size 8.
It’s been used for three trips only so is in superb condition.

Re: An observation.
Such an interesting thread with some great insight. I’m prone to marketing and am always browsing / thinking about new bikes but to date I’ve always come to the conclusion the differences between a flashy new gravel bike and my lovely v1 tripster atr will be negligible at best. This sounds very merc...
