Great article this that summarises the (ridiculous) situation perfectly. I ride in the NF regularly and echo the comment on damage caused by horse riders.

This is an issue of class, privilege and entitlement, not ecology.

Thanks all. I have a thermarest neo air lite or something like that. It’s paper thin almost, so maybe that’s my problem.

Tbh I think a thicker quilt is the answer as I don’t want to carry multiple bedding items and I hate the bulkiness of bags on the bike.

Used twice, but I run cold and this wasn’t enough for me in the colder spring nights. Packs up very small indeed.

Hi Tony I have a brand new pair of Schwalbe Smart Sam 29 x 2.25 with wired beads.

Not sure if they are tubeless but you can have them for £20 plus postage
