Re: Tubeless question

Tim. I only really left Stans fully after a few tires became fully vulcanised with the sealant and it couldn't be removed. Nothing against the stuff as such though and I never ever had any 'sealing' problems with it as such. Not sure if I'm referring to the older formula though as I've noth bought ...

Re: Calder divide this week anyone ?

Set out yesterday morning with two friends to do the short 92 mile route in one hit. Great organisation and the main organiser (Adrian) was super friendly. The ride itself was very hard, but luckily the weather was great, warm all day. There are some fantastic sections on this route, stunning scener...

Re: Substitute for chamois creme

I did the LEJOG a few years ago and a doctor I met by chance recommended a cream called Siopel (available at bigger pharmacies) rather than Sudocrem etc. I bought some, used it and I finished the LEJOG with no further trouble.

Jones H Bar and Ergon GE1 Evo grips.

Apologies to anyone following this item on ebay - I've withdrawn the item (I tried again with a shorter stack stem and 30mm reach and they now fit). If anyone does want a set of Jones Bars a firm called Fire Trail in Aberdeen have the ally ones in stock (£110).

Once again apologies all round

RevGrips

I bought a set of these grips a couple of months ago, they got mixed reviews but I thought I'd give them a try. Two months later they are sat in the garage as one end cap fell off and replacements (£20 !) are sold out. I also found them a bit finicky to install. Is it just me thinking they are not w...

Re: Bamford Clough: green roads, permitted byways and what's taken to keep em open

I live in Sheffield and have ridden down Bamford Clough a few times over the last three or four months. I was speaking to a Bamfordian and he told me what happened with the road. Apparently the 'powers that be' were fed up of trial bikes and off roaders hill climbing up the lane so they wanted a pla...
