valve core blocked

I'm new to running tubeless. One tyre is fully inflated but the valve is blocked and won't let air in or out. I presume I need to unscrew the valve core and replace. Seeing as it's fully inflated will the core just shoot out as the speed of sound? Is that a problem? Will all of the goo shoot out as ...

Re: What's happened to Bikehike ...

Oh bugger.
I find Bike hike really useful. Having the split screen is great.
Will it be resolved? Is there a work around?

Re: Pipedream sleeping bag anyone?

I have the PD 200 and 400

I would recommend it. It's good.

The 2 is definitely a summer bag. 400 much warmer and does me in most (non summer) situations.
Last used at Dryfehead bothy last month and lots last year during bivvi a month ( have done 26 months now)

Re: Stove Recommendations

I bought a Kraku and marvelled at its great design and lightness. The problem was it wouldn't work with two types of gas canister ~ Colemans and another by go gas ltd. I rang Alpkit and they said yes there was a problem with Coleman but it should work with the others. Unfortunately mine didn't work ...

Weight distribution

A recent thread got me thinking. What's the best way to distribute weight on the bike? Options are a combination of ~ ~ seat rack with or without panniers or Alpkit Koala ~ frame bag ~ 20L pouch on handle bars ~ small backpack Up until now all I've had is backpack and seat rack with panniers. Most w...

Re: Dirty Reiver: 200k UK Gravel event

I've cycled a few of these routes on my last two bivvy trips. I cycled many of the south eastern roads a couple of weeks ago and I stayed at Kersopehead in early February. I can't report on the state of the track as it was covered in 3 inches of snow ; ) The upstairs room is pretty big and could fit...

That looks good

I'm going to make one for myself.
One question ( for the mo)

You use a zip at the top. Could you use a velcro closing instead? Any disadvantages of doing so?

Cheers
