WTD: Frame Bag Salsa El Mariachi

Hi,

Looking for a full frame bag to fit a Large (19") Salsa El Mariachi.
Thought I'd see if anyone had a one kicking around before I commission a new one.

Cheers

..... Running the needle on the northings forces you to keep the map oriented and does reduce the chance of losing contact with the map.
Struggling to get my head round how this works?! I'll have to go out and try it.

Just replaced it with the same version to keep things simple.

Last nights trott.....crash bang.....stagger was an orienteering MapRun with the local club. Got sniped by a hidden bit of angle iron before my third checkpoint which a crash to and slide along the floor, landing partially in some lovely nettles! Quite a bit of traffic going around the way at the moment, seeing people pass through King's Somborne virtually every day on my commute.
Group of 6 'Gravelists' this morning, looked pretty lightly packed.

Re: 'Modern' long geo frames with Jones bars?

This one interests me, I've been struggling to resolve how the handling would be affected with a long t-t and shorter stem. Current setup is Large El Mariachi, 100mm stem and 710mm Loops. Contemplating changing the frame and going with a longer TT, think it ideally needs to be 10-15mm longer with th...

Re: Today's Run

I started my PPRPR (Pre-Parkrun Practice Runs) this week, easing my way in gently by using the Couch to 5K app. Bike fitness is average at the mo and run fitness zero after trashing my ankle last September Orienteering. Not really planning on any big runs, just want to get back to some regular Parkr...

Some lovely fancy 'Posh Plastic' Jones bar from Rufus748 - so a Geoff to Jones upgrade on the SS.

And an Ergon Saddle for the Full Sus.......though after fitting and a quick test this maybe an error!!

Unless you go for Chris King, they make their own bearings.

I put a Rideworks on the singlespeed, seems like a notch up in quality over a Hope one. Only a few hundred miles so far but going good.

Re: Bivvy a Month 2021

Oddly enough it’s a memorial to a horse... Farley Mount? I'd never considered that as a bivi spot but I've only been there in the day when it's busy. That’s the one. I had a quick look around the car parks to see if anybody was around. The area can be, how shall I say, popular after dark...or so I’...

That will be the head badge :-bd I know Salsa sometimes get accused of being overpriced and people list the cheaper alternatives which are 'just' as good, but there's something about how a ti Salsa rides which is more than the geo numbers and sum of the parts. Maybe they'll make the Salsa I want ag...

Re: Anyone any experience of 'non shocker' version of USE/Ultimate seatposts?

They sometimes have some keenly priced posts on the Outlet page of the USE/Exposure website. I'm running a 27.2 Sumo on the singlespeed and it's definitely a more comfy ride that the Thompson I had on before. It is possible to decrease weight as the diameter goes up as stiffness for the same wall th...
