what i meant was, whatever bike i have had at the time, in the last 18yrs has been kept in the kitchen by the radiator........

my bike has been kept in the kitchen, next to the radiator for 18 years. no damage of any kind has occured.

only ever owned 2 bikes at once. 1 for touring/road and 1 for offroad riding.
tried to get away with one, but it is too much faff, swapping tyres, guards on and off. 2 is perfect.

possibly highland trail, as a 10 day tour.
2 weeks touring in Brittany for my 50th. staying in posh places, eating posh snap.
sweary northerners elderly section drinking and pootling week away.

i can buy a bike for the price of those wolvhammers......
