exposure get my money all day(night maybe) long when i need lights.

Angus bike chain get my money where i can for being ace people.

things i dislike -

Altura clothing - Variance in sizing across models of the same size mean no more.

Cat eye lights - seem to let water in for fun and are pricy.

Re: heart rate

Wrist mounted hr is sporadic at best.

Not very good for dynamic intervals where hr is up and down alot as the lag is large.

Good for rough idea of where you were all day but not great at sport.

He means it was no longer niche/exclusive/special.

Everyone interested tried it for them selves and realised it wasn't some magic bullet.

Re: Talk to me about Rohloff

I think the man's point was that rohloff don't make the rohbox so it's not fair to blame them for set up hassles.

The rohloff supplied clickbox is easy to set up.

Re: When is a race not a race?

roads are public.

Downhills and enduros are generally on privately owned (although publicly accessable) land.

either way you have to get permission from relevent bodies and do Risk Assessment and have insurance to run them.

Re: Talk to me about Rohloff

I've had 2 alfine 8s - both really draggy. Got a rohloff and it's draggy - and as pointed out the deadening of the rear of the bike is a whole other issue in its self The least draggy is the 9speed freehub internally 3speeded sturmey archer on my cargo bike it's actually excusable. Shame it's not se...

Re: Talk to me about Rohloff

Had my rohloff for 10 plus years. It's been on various bikes and currently resides on my fat bike. I did build it onto a race bike drinking the koolaid about it not dragging and even having less drag than a regular derailleur drive train. What a load of drivel. It's like pedaling through treacle. Re: How Much !

Rolling road closure in the form of trained and accredited motorcycle outriders is a standard proceedure for road racing these days. Makes life for us Marshall's so much easier as they have the authority to stop cars we don't. I still don't agree with riders doing multiple days of racing while putti...

Re: Shed Condensation/Cladding

why board with plasterboard ? Id not go with loft insulation either. MY garage suffered this issue with the metal clad roof. i went with Kingspan seconds from fleebay cut and between joists to tight fit and filled the gaps with expanding foam. That fixed my issue. Ventilate - ventilate and ventilate.
