Wanted: Salsa EXP 35.0 Anything Cradle Arms

To beg, borrow or buy.

I've got the first version of the cage so the arms only fit 31.8mm diameter bars and don't work on my new 35.0mm bar.

Does anyone have the new 35.0mm arms?

Another happy 3D Print Direct user here. The cheapest I've found for small one-off jobs, and I really like the finish on the Graphite-SLS and PA12-MJF materials.

The website seems to be down at the moment

Re: New lifestyle opportunity for someone?

There used to be the National Watersports Centre on Great Cumbrae. It was truly world class, staffed by excellent outdoor types. Sportscotland made the utterly bonkers decision to close the centre last summer. I don't have words to describe the numpties responsible. You'd often see tourists who'd co...

I have a spare, taken from a new Canyon. It clamps at the lever and looks like this one: https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/bra ... prod149026.

Lever only, i.e., you'll need to supply the cable. £12.50, including P&P.

Another MLD user here - I've got the Solomid XL. How about a Duomid or Duomid XL? Loads of space, single-pole, minimal pegs (more pegs increase bomb proofing), use with a polychro groundsheet for minimal weight/pack-size, or add an inner net for midge proofing. Could you perhaps use a cache battery with a long lead? Keeping the cache battery close to your torso should keep the voltage high.

Aiguille's a small family business, tucked away at the back of the yard in Staveley. Adrian is a top bloke; his son Jonny set off to sail solo around Britain at the age of 16.

I know some folks tried their bike-packing bags; it would be nice to see some long-term feedback.

Re: Public footpath gone AWOL

Top marks to Lancashire PROW team for getting back to me quickly. They say the Cornwall CC rule applies in Lancashire too: 'IN LAW A BICYCLE IS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE A 'USUAL' ACCOMPANIMENT ON A FOOTPATH. TO PUSH (OR CARRY) A BICYCLE IS, THEREFORE, TO COMMIT A TRESPASS AGAINST THE HOLDER OF THE LAND ...

Re: Public footpath gone AWOL

To clarify, I was walking with my bike at my side. I couldn't have ridden if I'd wanted to. And the corn was so dense that walking without the bike wouldn't have been much quicker. "However, in law a bicycle is not considered to be a 'usual' accompaniment on a footpath. To push (or carry) a bic...

Re: Public footpath gone AWOL

I've had a response from Lancashire's Public Rights of Way team. It may be useful to others. It may also raise a chuckle. [1] [Footpath 2-20-FP 4 from Whin Lane End to Waterside Farm] is a public footpath and anyone is allowed to walk it as often as they wish [2] The landowner has obligations not to...

Public footpath gone AWOL

I was exploring the Lancashire hinterland yesterday. The OS map shows a public footpath but there's precious little indication that it still exists on the ground. There was no signage, stiles were overgrown with thorns and nettles, a bridge was in serious disrepair and, for the finale, the farmer ha...
