It was also the day before the announcement of lockdown. Which makes it a bit more memorable.

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you like.

Thanks - one of the few race photos I'll get to take this year I suspect.

Small one is mine, as is the one looking like she is pondering which course to do...she was wetting her finger apparently :)

Not come across that Paul - interesting route. Quite runable! Paddy currently on hold for me. But such is the way of things. Wales will still be there.

Re: Stupid ideas you can't shake.

It'd be next year at the earliest now Greg. I think it probably is the fact that taking a bike up and over some of them sounds reasonably stupid, that makes also makes it sound appealing. A lot of them are trails through talus. Bike would be .. interesting. Some of the lower sections would be a hoo...

Re: Stupid ideas you can't shake.

I've had the joy of dong a few 14's a while back. It's a good place to spend time. The peaks are pretty raw and it's an interesting place.

Would I travel to the US at the moment... maybe. Co. is one of the few places I probably would.

Re: Single Speed Help...

Having had it happen when cranking up a hill many years ago - you don't want it slipping when it's under a lot of power.

Crotch + stem interface is not ideal.

Wide SS cog, preferably steel, metal spacers - perfect chainline.

Welcome to the SS club, it's simple and painful at the same time.

I also have some of the smaller Cannonballs - 40mm - lower volume was good for fitting into mudguards!

Re: TERAVAIL 700 X 47 Cannonball

I have. Not too dissimilar to the Sparwood. Fast in straight line, corners well with some drift, little to no warning when it cuts away!

I like them. For daily commute. Canal, gravel, some gritstone paving slabs.

Quite a few Terravail tyres now, quite happy with most of them.

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you like.

Thanks Sean. It was taken while she was watching our neighbours kid in our shared garden - hence she couldn’t go play in the garden. She has taken a surprisingly large amount of semi decent photos, lots of dross, but she is 3. I like that the haze in the sky is chequered, as it’s through the bug mesh.

Wanted: SRAM Apex 10 speed levers

If you have any (As I know many of you hate them) I would like another set.

Purely ergonomics. My hands work with them :)

Re: Madder than a mad thing

Reminds me of one of my early Mondrakers when they had the bonkers stems on them. Thing was amazing in a straight line down hill once you weighted the front wheel. Otherewise...it was a bit pants.

Being windproof would be nice. Unlike the last ones.
Described as windproof and showerproof front.
And North Korea is described as a Republic.....
