I'm lucky in that my body hasn't betrayed me of late, so I've been able to keep the activity up.

I can't even begin to imagine what my calorie intake would need to be to lose weight without it. It wouldn't be pleasant.

My thinking was that (at least one) previous editions of the YD200 were a) off road, and b) 200km.

Yeah, there was a YD200 that was off-road.

Realistically I'm mid to low teens at the moment, but I'm not going to pull out the calipers to check.

Some muscle striation here and there. Quads, upper chest, delts. Upper abs and obliques showing, lower ones never will due to loose skin.

I wanted to tour the route a couple of years back, but my riding buddy had a change of plans that meant we couldn't do the whole thing. I've just revisited the idea, but have tagged on riding to and from the start, which takes the total distance up to 535km.

5 minutes for my fastest time.

I'll be walking that completely this time. Not taking risks any more.

Other than that, there really isn't anything particularly gnarly that I recall.
